On Thursday we spent the entire day at The Vatican. We first walked right up to the front of St. Peter's to get in, but learned we needed to walk have way around the city to get to the museum entrance on the other side. This is the entrance to the museum.
We started off by having a cup of coffee inside the Vatican.
There was a lot of walking and standing in line.
The first rooms we went to was the Pinacoteca (picture gallery). I didn't get many pictures from in here, but I did get this one of a Leonardo da Vainci. Only after I took the picture did I find out it was just a reproduction. Oh well.
La Disputa by Raphael
The School of Athens by Raphael. This is one of the works that I was most looking forward to seeing.
