These pictures are from our last couple days in from Milan.
This is Santa Maria delle Grazie where Leonardo's Last Supper is located. This has got to be one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. Being able to have about 10 minutes just staring at one of the finest works of art ever.
The world famous Teatro alla Scala opera house. We got to go inside and take a look at the inside and take a tour of the museum. I'm not to up of the opera scene, but it was pretty interesting.
This is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It's like a big shopping mall.
They've got all the big names here. Louis Vuiton...
...Prada....
...McDonalds?
They say if you put your right heel on the bulls little balls and spin your wish will come true.
The Milan Cathedral. Another Duomo.
This is supposed to be some very famous street for fashion. I have no idea what to do here.
Castello Sforzesco
A lot of these sites are overrun by cats. We saw over twenty in this place alone.
Louis?
ReplyDeleteNick, what a fabulous trip to Italy. Sure wish I could have traveled along this time, but we will plan something. After all, I had to stay home and work on your condo. Hope your new bed is as comfortable as the one in the Villa. Again, where is my Louis handbag? Did I forget to tell you that I love Louis? Thoroughly enjoyed following your blog, and your photos are wonderful. Even Albert seemed to enjoy his trip! Happy you are back home and your cold is better. I love you, MOM
